How long have been working in the CORD community?

Since the last quarter of 2017

What contributions have you made in the past to the CORD community?

As Türk Telekom and with its’ group companies, we are still contributing to VOLTHA, SEBA and some other open sourced orchestrations.

What are you actively working on in CORD?

As Türk Telekom we are considering the ups and downs of CORD and how to deploy the concept to our networks. And we already started working on VOLThA - SEBA deployment in Türk Telekom with RCORD 6.0. We are considering not only the concept of itself alone but also how to implement/ integrate it to our network, so we gather the right expertise on CORD and start to see the improvement areas of it.

Why do you feel you would be a good candidate for this position?

As a working engineer in an operator, i can help to specify the real needs of operators Also, I believe, i can help with sharing the experiences that we had or will have on deployments.

Are there any changes you would like to bring to the community if elected into this position?

I think CORD already achieved so much with great concept designs, yet there seems to be a gap between the concept and the productization of these designs, therefore the real needs to be specified and developed for real operators. Also to achieve a greater acceptance of the Project, vendor supports should be regained.
