It’s important to have an idea of what the general installation workflow looks like, before going more into the details of the process.
Following is a list of high level tasks to bring up a CORD POD:
CORD software gets downloaded and built on the dev machine
A POD configuration is created by the operator on the dev machine
The software is pushed from the dev machine to the head node
The software gets automatically configured (deployed) on the head node
Compute nodes and fabric switches need to be manually rebooted. CORD automatically installs the OS, other software needed and performs the related configurations.
